An International Exhibition on ‘Climate Change: Technology Development and Transfer’ is being organized on October 22-23, 2009 in New Delhi by the Ministry of Environment & Forests (MoEF), Government of India in partnership with Confederation of Indian Industry (CII).
This unique Exhibition seeks to showcase India's efforts to address the challenge of climate change, demonstrate expertise in technology scenarios both present and future, institutional and business models of development and deployment, mechanisms to promote technology transfer to developing countries, and to enhance cooperation on research and development of current as well as new and innovative technologies.
Over 5,000 visitors are expected to visit the Exhibition that expects to have exhibitors from 30-35 developed and developing nations. India invites missions and trade delegations from several countries to not only witness the scope of doing business, but also have discussions with interested organisations in areas of mutual benefit covering policy, community development and technical collaboration.
